In the context of processing your personal data, THE JANGLE HOTEL recognizes the importance of ensuring the protection and security of your privacy and personal data, and has established this "Privacy Policy" section in compliance with the strictest criteria for the protection of personal data, as well as any applicable regulations, in particular the French Data Protection Act n°2018-493 of June 20, 2018 and the General Regulation for Data Protection (hereinafter "RGPD") that came into force on May 25, 2018.

The manner in which your personal data is processed and collected is applicable to all users of the Site and/or customers of THE JANGLE HOTEL. We invite you to read it carefully. By continuing such communication, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the processing of your personal data and accept it.

The present "Privacy Policy" may be modified by THE JANGLE HOTEL at any time and without prior notice, in particular as a result of changes in legislation. The new section will apply from the date it is posted on the Site. By communicating personal information after these modifications have been made, you accept the new section.

Therefore, in accordance with the RGPD adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016 and the amended Loi Informatique et Libertés of January 6, 1978, THE JANGLE HOTEL informs you of the following:

THE JANGLE HOTEL only collects information that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

In this respect, THE JANGLE HOTEL collects the following information:

- Title ;

- First and last name ;

- Postal address;

- Date of birth ;

- (Telephone number) ;

- (E-mail address) ;

- Geolocation information.

This cookie management policy (hereinafter the “Management Policy”) is offered by the company MAVERICK, a simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder, with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 953 836 483, with the following intra-community VAT number: FR 52 953836483 and whose registered office is located at Le Néos II, 130 rue de la Jasse de Maurin, 34070 - Montpellier (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

This Cookie Management Policy informs you of your rights and the choices you can make regarding the storage of cookies when using the site: https://www.janglehotel.com (hereinafter the “Site”) published by the Company.

1. Object

In accordance with Article 82 of the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, taken in application of the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July 2002 concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, your consent as a user must be obtained before any action aimed at storing information or accessing information stored in your terminal equipment.

Following the provisions of Articles 4(11) and 7 of the GDPR relating to the conditions applicable to consent, the CNIL adopted Deliberation No. 2020-091 of September 17, 2020 adopting guidelines relating to the application of Article 82 of the Law of January 6, 1978, as amended, to read and write operations in a user's terminal (in particular to "cookies and other trackers"), as well as Deliberation No. 2020-092 of September 17, 2020 adopting a recommendation proposing practical methods of compliance in the event of the use of "cookies and other trackers", presenting in particular examples and best practices of concrete methods of collecting consent and implementing trackers not subject to the latter.

2. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files containing various textual information, usually consisting of letters and numbers. They are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) via your browser, by the website you visit.

This operation allows your devices to be recognized as soon as a connection is established between the Site's server and your browser. The Company cannot guarantee the exhaustiveness of the list of cookies presented above.

3. PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

THE JANGLE HOTEL implements measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, including, but not limited to:

- Implementation and maintenance of advanced technical measures to ensure the confidential and secure storage and processing of your personal data;

- Implementing and maintaining appropriate restrictions on access to your personal data and controlling the access, use and transfer of personal data;

- All THE JANGLE HOTEL collaborators and employees who have access to your personal data are required to sign a confidentiality agreement or similar agreement, which obliges them to comply with THE JANGLE HOTEL's data protection and confidentiality requirements;

- THE JANGLE HOTEL requires any business partners and third party service providers to whom it may communicate your personal data to comply with any applicable data protection and confidentiality requirements;

- THE JANGLE HOTEL provides regular training on data protection to its employees and third parties who have access to your personal data.

THE JANGLE HOTEL declares that it presents sufficient guarantees, in particular in terms of knowledge, reliability and resources for the implementation of technical and organizational measures satisfying legal and regulatory obligations with regard to data protection. ÉCRIN BLANC declares that it keeps a written register, in electronic form, in electronic form, of all categories of processing activities carried out on your behalf including all the information provided for in Article 30.2 of the RGPD.

In addition, THE JANGLE HOTEL undertakes to:

i. Process your personal data solely for the purposes of providing our services;

ii. Process your personal data in accordance with your instructions;

iii. Guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data processed under the contract;

iv. Ensure that the persons authorized to process your personal data under the contract undertake to respect confidentiality or are subject to an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality and receive the necessary training in the protection of personal data;

v. Take into account, with regard to its tools, products, applications or services, the principles of data protection by design and data protection by default;

vi. Immediately notify any modification or change that may affect the processing of personal data;

vii. To respect the retention period of personal data with regard to the purposes for which they were collected or transmitted and to delete personal data upon expiry of the retention period; and

viii. Cooperate with you in considering the circumstances in which anonymization of your personal data may be appropriate.

THE JANGLE HOTEL undertakes to notify you of any personal data breach, as defined in Article 4.12 of the RGPD, within a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours of becoming aware of it and by the following means: sending a message to your e-mail address. This notification shall be accompanied by any documentation in its possession enabling you, if necessary, to notify this breach to the competent supervisory authority. It must, as far as possible, specify the nature and consequences of the data breach, the measures already taken or proposed to remedy it and the persons from whom further information may be obtained, and where possible, an estimate of the number of persons likely to be affected by the breach in question.

If you have a complaint, you can contact the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) directly.

4. YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by Act no. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, and by European Regulation no. 2006/679, customers have the right to access, rectify, delete and port their personal data, as well as the right to object to the processing of their personal data on legitimate grounds. These rights may be exercised by contacting the data controller.

Any request relating to the communication, portability, rectification, deletion, opposition to the processing of your personal data, must be accompanied by a photocopy of a signed valid identity document and mention the address at which THE JANGLE HOTEL may contact the applicant.

THE JANGLE HOTEL undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other request for additional information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed one (1) month from receipt of your request.

In the event of a breach of your personal data, THE JANGLE HOTEL undertakes to notify the CNIL under the conditions prescribed by the RGPD.

If you consider that THE JANGLE HOTEL is not complying with its obligations with regard to your personal data, you may lodge a complaint or a request with the competent authority.
